Stewardship is our response to God’s selfless gift of his son Jesus Christ who taught us the meaning of true
abundance. Stewardship is the ways in which we respond to God’s most precious gifts; not simply an annual
fundraiser, but rather a life long commitment to serving His kingdom here on earth the way Jesus did. He
looks to us for our time, our talent and our treasure, not just for ten cents on the dollar.

At Grace in the Desert, the vestry and its Finance Committee take a leadership roll in planning the year-round
needs of our church both physically and spiritually. In early fall, we ask for your annual pledge, however we
will ask for more than money. Each congregant brings special skills and talents to the table; we will ask you
to share those special gifts. Whether you are an engineer, a parent, a teacher, or a gardener we need you—the
Lord’s house needs you.
